Your Merchant Center account gets suspended for Misrepresentation, you search "best app to fix it," and every list hands you the same answer: feed apps. So you install one, your feed gets cleaner than it has ever been — and the suspension stays exactly where it was.
That's not because feed apps are bad. It's because a feed app and a suspension are usually solving different problems. Google suspends accounts over trust and policy signals on your store — not over the formatting of your product feed. A perfect feed inside a suspended account is a well-organized filing cabinet in a locked room.
This guide compares the apps merchants actually reach for in 2026, is honest about what each one does and does not do, and includes our own app — ShopFlix AI, which we build, so read that section knowing it's ours. Every third-party app here was verified live on the Shopify App Store or its own site at the time of writing; every price is the one we saw listed.
What actually gets stores suspended
Two very different failure modes get lumped together as "suspended":
Product disapprovals are item-level. Missing GTINs, image overlays, mismatched prices, blocked landing pages. Your account stays open; specific products stop showing. Feed apps are genuinely good at preventing these — our breakdown of why products get disapproved on Google Shopping covers the usual suspects.
Account suspensions — above all Misrepresentation — are store-level. Google's systems evaluate whether your business looks real and honest: reachable contact information, complete and consistent policies, a believable business identity, discounts that aren't perpetual "90% off" theater, prices and availability that match between your feed, your pages, and your structured data. We've dissected the policy in detail in our guide to the Misrepresentation suspension.
The uncomfortable part: many stores that fix every listed issue get suspended again, because the trust-and-identity layer — who you are, where you are, whether your about/contact/policy pages hold together — was never audited at all. We wrote up that failure pattern in suspended again after fixing everything.
So when you evaluate apps, keep one question in front of you: does this tool audit my store the way Google's policy review does, or does it only manage my product feed? Both are useful. Only one addresses a Misrepresentation suspension.

1. Simprosys Google Shopping Feed — the feed workhorse
Simprosys is the default answer for Shopify → Google feeds, and the numbers back it up: 4.9 stars across 4,300+ reviews. It submits and optimizes feeds for Google Shopping ads, free listings, Meta, Microsoft, Pinterest and 15+ channels, handles multi-country/multi-language/multi-currency feeds, manages Performance Max campaigns, and does GA4 and conversion tracking. Pricing tiers by catalog size: $4.99/mo up to 500 products, rising to $17.99/mo for 10,000, with a 21-day free trial.
Strengths: rock-solid sync, powerful feed rules and metafield mapping, support that reviewers consistently praise.
Limits: Simprosys is a feed app, and an excellent one — but it does not audit your store's trust and identity signals, policy pages, or discount honesty. If you're suspended for Misrepresentation, a cleaner feed alone won't lift it. Use it for what it's great at: keeping product data flowing correctly once your account is healthy.
2. Nabu for Google Shopping Feed (AdNabu) — AI on the feed layer
Nabu by AdNabu (4.7 stars, ~500 reviews) leans on AI to rewrite and optimize feed attributes, syncs in real time, integrates product reviews (Judge.me, Yotpo, Okendo and others) into listings, and surfaces Merchant Center errors with analytics so you can see what's disapproved and why. There's a free Explorer tier (up to 10 orders/month), then paid plans at $19.99, $39.99, $99.99 and $249.99/mo.
Strengths: the error-resolution dashboard genuinely helps with item-level disapprovals, and AI-generated titles/descriptions save time on big catalogs.
Limits: the AI works on your product data, not your business identity. It won't flag a missing refund policy, an unreachable contact page, or structured-data price mismatches on your theme — the store-level signals behind account suspensions.
3. CedCommerce Google Feed — budget-friendly real-time sync
CedCommerce's Google Feed (4.5 stars, 514 reviews) syncs products to Merchant Center in real time via the new Merchant API, identifies item-level errors, and covers multi-country/multi-currency profiles, Local Inventory Ads and PMax. The free plan covers 50 SKUs; Growth is $13/mo up to 100,000 SKUs, Accelerate $49/mo unlimited.
Strengths: genuinely cheap for large catalogs, and already on the Merchant API — relevant now that Google is retiring the legacy Content API in August 2026.
Limits: reviews praise sync but are more mixed on post-purchase support. And as with every app in this class, "item-level error identification" means feed errors — not the policy review that suspended your account.
4. DataFeedWatch (by Cart.com) — the agency-grade feed engine
DataFeedWatch is the heavyweight: a rule-based feed transformation engine used by thousands of shops and agencies, with plans tiered from ~1k SKUs (Shop, around $64/mo per current listings) up to Enterprise at 100k+ SKUs, and a 15-day free trial. It holds a 4.8 rating from ~340 Shopify reviews.
Strengths: unmatched flexibility for complex feed logic across many channels; a real fit for agencies managing multiple stores.
Limits: it's the most expensive tool here and squarely a feed platform. If your problem is "my account is suspended and I don't know why," DataFeedWatch is the wrong aisle — powerful, but aimed at optimization, not reinstatement.
5. FeedArmy — pay a human to handle it
FeedArmy is different in kind: a managed service, not a Shopify app. It's run by Emmanuel Flossie — a Google Ads Partner and long-time Google Ads community Product Expert — and offers weekly feed management: monitoring and fixing Merchant Center issues, refining titles/descriptions/attributes, resolving warnings and errors. Pricing is quote-based rather than a public app-store tier.
Strengths: an experienced human who has seen hundreds of Merchant Center accounts is worth a lot, especially for messy multi-issue accounts.
Limits: it's the opposite of self-serve — you're buying ongoing consulting, at consulting economics, on a consultant's timeline. For a small store that needs a diagnosis today, a scan-first approach is faster and cheaper.
6. ShopFlix AI — built for the suspension itself (disclosure: this is our app)
Full transparency: ShopFlix AI is our product, so weigh this section accordingly. We built it because everything above optimizes feeds, and nothing above answers the question suspended merchants actually have: what, specifically, does my store look like to a Google policy reviewer?
What it does differently:
- A policy-grade compliance scan, not a feed lint. It checks every product and the store layer: policy pages, contact and shipping info, checkout signals, JSON-LD consistency between your structured data and your visible pages — the exact mismatches that read as data-accuracy violations. Our 2026 compliance-scan checklist shows the full surface it covers.
- A Trust & Identity misrepresentation audit. The layer feed apps skip entirely: business identity, reachability, about-page substance, discount honesty — the signals behind most Misrepresentation suspensions and nearly all "suspended again after fixing everything" cases.
- One-click fixes for the issues it finds on your products, applied through Shopify — not a PDF of homework.
- Appeal letters drafted from your actual scan results, so your reinstatement request cites what you fixed instead of pleading. (Pair with our reinstatement guide — the sequence you appeal in matters.)
Pricing is deliberately the cheapest on this page: the scan is free, there's a free plan, and paid tiers start at $4.99/mo. You can run the free Merchant Center scan without installing anything and see your store's issue list in minutes. Full feature breakdown on our features page.
Honest limits: ShopFlix AI is not a multi-channel feed manager. If you need Meta + Pinterest + Bing feeds with custom transformation rules, use Simprosys or DataFeedWatch for that — several of our merchants run one of them alongside us, and the tools don't conflict.

FAQ
Will a feed app get my suspended account reinstated?
On its own, almost never. Feed apps fix product-data quality; suspensions — especially Misrepresentation — are triggered by store-level policy and trust signals. Fix the store, then appeal. A great feed helps you stay reinstated afterward.
Do I need both a feed app and a compliance app?
They solve different layers, so many stores run both: a feed app (like Simprosys) for channel management, and a compliance scan (like ours) to catch policy issues before Google does. If you're choosing one while suspended, compliance first — feeds are useless in a suspended account.
How fast can I be reinstated after fixing everything?
Google's re-review typically takes days, not hours, and repeated failed appeals make each next one harder. That's why we recommend scanning and fixing everything — including trust and identity signals — before your next appeal, not after it fails. Sequence and timing are covered in the reinstatement guide.
Can I just send an appeal letter without changing my store?
You can, and it will almost certainly fail — Google re-reviews the store, not the letter. An appeal is evidence of fixes, not a substitute for them.
